B&B The Crooked House
"The crooked house" B&B arises from the obstinacy and the effort of two sisters, Federica and Fabiana, but also from the patience of Mrs. Bruna, the mom. The house where Bruna, our dad Franco, our grandma Nina and our grandpa Giulio moved after the wedding of our parents and where we three sisters spent our childhood and adolescence was declared unsafe in 1982 after the earthquake that severely overtook hit the country. After years of attempts, difficulties, legal problems and discouragement the renovation could finally start in 2009 and completed in 2012.
The house has been completely renovated according to the new techinques of bio-construction: wood roof with solar panels, floor heating, external insulation. The furniture is Occitane, with some elements of the old house brought to a new life by the owners including a cherry wood cupboard, two mirrors, two tub chairs and a chandelier. All this in order to create an elegant and comfortable environment, where the guests will be able to rest, relax and get ready to discover Osimo and its surroundings. The entrance is on the ground floor whereas the other side of the B&B overlooks a wide landscape that goes from the sea in the east to the Sibillini mountains in the west. Why "The crooked house"? Well, just the careful guests will find it out once they get here, looking at the B&B....
